Google Nexus-10

The Google Nexus 7 was and is a great tablet and as amazing as it is there are some people who want a slightly bigger screen. Well the Google Nexus 10 is the tablet that is making some people look away from all the noise that Samsung, Sony and even Apple are making. And its making people see that you can get a great tablet that does a ton of cool stuff and is available for a really good price. That is what we have here with the Google Nexus 10.

The Google Nexus 10 is a very nice looking tablet. It is very sleek and cool looking from the front and is more curvy than most other tablets. On the back it has this rubber texture to it. Now this may not be to everyone's taste, but it actually is really nice. You see it makes holding the tablet much more comfortable and less likely to slip out of your hand. This rubber backing and the very strong protective glass on the front makes this a very tough and robust tablet that while not indestructible it will be able to take the odd drop by one of the kids.

It is the screen that has gotten many people excited about the Google Nexus 10. It boasts an impressive 2560 x 1600 pixels and even more impressive is when you break it down into pixels per inch which is 300dpi over the iPad 4's 264dpi. In short right now this is the highest screen quality you can get on any tablet. All these fancy numbers just mean that you are getting an incredible picture on your tablet. Movies look great on here and reading the latest smash hit eBook is very easy on the eyes. And games just look amazing especially some of the new 3D games.

The OS powering the Google Nexus 10 is the very popular Jelly Bean 4.2 OS. One really cool feature of this OS is that you can have multiple user profiles on it. So you can have one for you and another more restrictive profile for your kids to stop them looking at things they shouldn't be and from running up massive bills in the Play Store! Some people have reported that the 4.2 OS does occasionally suffer from freezes and random re-boots. But these are far and few between and have nothing to do with the actual Google Nexus 10.

Like all Android devices you have a ton of great apps that you can download from the Play Store. These range from the latest games to educational apps as well. While many prefer the layout of the App store from Apple. The Android Play Store really has stepped up over the last 18 months or so and now it really is giving Apple a run for their money.

You have two cameras here a five mega pixel camera on the back and a 1.9 mega pixel front facing camera for when you want to do some video calling. I really do not see a camera as a huge selling point of a tablet, but the two here are right up there with the best tablets on the market.

As of right now the Google Nexus 10 is one of the best tablets you can buy. It looks cool is very powerful and fast and it really does everything that you could want a tablet to do. Movies look amazing. Playing games is an experience like no other and so much more. If you want a larger screen tablet then this one right here really is a great choice.
